So like I’ve been loc’d for a year or two now and the curls at the end of some of my locs are locking up and breaking off What should I do ?

If the ends of your loss are breaking off, that is usually an indication of damage. Common sources of damage in locs is improper moisturizing methods and chemical damage from hair coloring or bleach.

Look at the ends of your locs. If they have split ends, you’ll likely want to trim the damaged ends off. That will eliminate the curled ends and prevent the ends from breaking.

If you have the means to, it is also best to have a professional specialized in loc care take a look at your hair. But in the event that isn’t feasible, consider these videos about keeping ends healthy by Quotidianlight on YouTube.
